Even if not many things came out at the beginning of the month, I managed to keep myself busy with certain games and shows. Right now, I still wish I would have finished more games I started earlier this year, because the next few months are going to be crazy with new releases. :O
Cartoon: The Legend of Korra
The Legend of Korra: Book 2 (or season 2) is going to start soon, so I decided to watch the first one again. I love the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Korra might not be as great, but I still enjoy watching it a lot. The characters and setting in these animated series are just amazing and hard to find in anything else I like. I can only recommend it.
Games: Animal Crossing, 999
For some reason, I have been using my 3DS a lot last month. I have to say that I started Animal Crossing once it was released, but didn’t play it long enough. This kind of changed in August and I was playing for an hour or even more every single day. Another game I bought a long time ago, but never started: 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. I knew it would be a good game, but never thought I would enjoy it so much. Played it twice already and started it a third time because I really want to get a certain ending. Also surprising for me, I like almost all of the characters in this game. No matter who they are or what they do. Not sure if I’m going for the six different endings immediately, since I really want to start Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward once I am done with this playthrough.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time to read properly the last few weeks… I still took some time to give Bakuman a second chance. By this, I don’t mean that I ever dropped or hated the manga or anything, I simply started reading it a long time ago and never finished it. Since I was really in a mood for a manga like this one, I decided to give it another go and started it again. Finished the first volume and it’s definitely worth my time now. :green:
Like every August since 2010, I am going to gamescom in Cologne. I’m staying there for two nights with friends and we usually also take the time to visit the city and go shopping. This year again, we stayed there from Thursday until Saturday afternoon. It was crazy how many people visited gamescom this year, unfortunately making it very hard to play a lot of games. No matter what, it was still a lot of fun and I’m always excited to pack my bags every year for this amazing event!
